Excellent pairing indeed! This post is ever so fitting as I stumble my way through planting our back yard. Much like my home an evolving project that seems to be taking on a “life” of it’s own… yes, I have David turning beds…. I think he is rusty… but don’t tell Joan…. (she’d never believe me anyway)! Your exposition/expository illumination of strings was not only a sterling example of clear thinking but a right fine example of one who understands the concept of roots. Which are after all, strings of a most significant kind. Even my literary alter egos made a collective grumbling noise of approval. Which is a first I might add.
