Your exposition/expository illumination of strings was not only a sterling example of clear thinking but a right fine example of one who understands the concept of roots. Which are after all, strings of a most significant kind. Even my literary alter egos made a collective grumbling noise of approval. Which is a first I might add. You and Steven Hawkins in the same sentence?  An excellent pairing.
